About the Center for Digital Art
Established in 1996, the Center for Digital Art (CDA) is a
nonprofit organization with a dual purpose: First, to provide
an educational media resource in video and film production
for the New England and Brattleboro area. Second, to promote
the creation of videoart through integrated electronic art
workshops and the creation of videoart. Long-range goals include
the establishment of an International Video Art Festival and
International Artist Exchange Program for video artists whose
work exemplifies artistic excellence and demonstrates a strong
independent vision extending beyond the traditional forms
of the documentary and narrative.
EDUCATION:
CDAs educational programs focus on providing courses,
workshops, and resources to anyone interested in furthering
his or her education in computer skills and digital imaging.
